  For prices this low, you'd expect the food quality of service to suffer. I've never had a bad experience at Fred's and always recommend it. Everything I've tried on the menu has been well prepared and lived up to expectations while being extremely reasonably priced.

  Interior is pretty good. For a 'saloon' it could be more authentic. The food was great with an awesome price! They didn't have enough waitresses and our was struggling to keep up. You could see here frustration. She did a good job.

  Its ok, the waiters were nice,but it took 1 hour and 10 minutes to get the food. When we finally got our food it was cold. Yup just remembered why we haven't been coming.
  
  Most of our party had to wait longer than i did.
  
  Poorly employed.
  
  And when we walked in there were 5 meals waiting at the window.

  Pretty friendly staff. Went with group. Don't expect your meal to look anything like the photos. One guy commented that the photos showed two sides. She said they were from an old menu. Unfortunately, plate dinners only come with one side.
  
  For me was the chicken fried steak. It was good. I got the mashed potatoes which were ok. I added the seasoned green beans. They came in a small bowl with a couple bites of bacon & chopped onion, not seasoned.
  
  All the plates looked good. One guy had steak & shrimp. He said the shrimp smelled bad & tasted worse.
  
  Another guy had catfish and said it wasn't good.
  
  The ones that had steak said their meal was real good.
